You've got to love that no matter how many times this story is published - for no other reason than to push negative sentiment fortescue's way, no one ever addresses powers point. What about that extra 400 tonnes still being produced sold into the market at a much higher cost? Why is that point raised but conveniently never addressed? Are fortescue's costs cemented at $40 per tonne for the next three years? What about the further $1.4b outlined in the report in cost cutting for this financial year alone?. The depreciation of the Brazilian dollar over the next three years compared to the Australian must also be incredibly predictable too. These kinds of monotonously repetitive, biased negative reports sh*t me but they just keep churning them out. At least they've acknowledged the break even price of $39 per tonne rather than quoting something $15 higher as usual
