The difference between business related mine closure and ideological reasons is that even with an improvement in metrics, these major polluters will remain shut. We are mortal king about all electric arc furnaces but the ones that do not have appropriate control of environmental pollution. It is very expensive to make the necessary changes. The plants are gone forever as they are identified as major causes of EPA issues.
