Maz, Pear, the problem with shorters is that they are not as sophisticated and astute as long traders, as we know its always more difficult to pick a company that's share price will appreciate. Picking something that will fall is much easier and less brain time needed. The brain is unable to make complex calculations so its seen something like oh it takes a year to build a house and a week to demolish it so i would rather be a demolisher than a builder, or mum give me a lift to the top of the street but i'll walk back home much easier.
