I really can't see this having any significant impact on the actual supply of IO. Unless the blockade goes on for an extended period.
However, there could be some perceived or emotional impact.
A headline like "Vale & BHP's South American Iron Ore production brought to a standstill" is likely to get a bit of a reaction in the supply / demand perception which is the main price driver.
