Nope not excessive at all... One announcement or solid IO movement can do it....
It can & has happened in the blink of an eye... Look at the trading history of 9th July, the low was $1.61 & the day's high was $1.79 - .18c difference...
I have a live program, it literally all happened in the blink of an eye on that day & finished at $1.785 on that day (the high)...
