No much they can do, pump as many billions into market as they like won't change the negative sentiment at the moment. China market is 80% retail investors, large percentage on margin, most of whom are very uneducated when it comes to investing and do so on news and rumours rather than financial results.
China market is still young,unsophisticated and has yet to experience a major crash. The China government stimulus and messages are erratic and only making the situation worse.
