IMO I don't think Porter has any relevant or recent skills or experience to assist SDL to move forward from its present situation. He has done diddly squat for the company so far. He was allegedly involved in successfully negotiating the tenement a decade ago and that’s about it. He successfully took legal action against SDL and all shareholders paid the price. Will he be able to assist in turning the company around and adding value to the company and shareholders…hmmm…actions speak louder than words so on that basis I don’t think so.
Can he use the same negotiation skills he used to negotiate the purchase of the tenement to secure funding. I suppose he couldn’t do any worse than GC who clearly has not yet been able to secure funding. Maybe we are not providing enough financial incentive to management..LOL
As long as he doesn’t cost the company any further dollars he is most welcome to get involved.
It would be good to see Porter prove himself to be something more than just another hanger on, another mouth to feed.
