While there are good and bad items with AGO, and yes I know the IO price is helping in a time when it was unexpected (if you follow the experts/opinions/forecasts) but what is difficult to comprehend is that the debt holders selling such large parcels almost daily - who is buying them ??? Hardly mum and dad investors buying 50M share parcels at a cost of a little over $1M ?? Some groups must have a little more confidence than you express !! ... Or are they expecting to churn for a small profit ... At the end of the day someone has to repurchase those large holdings if they are in fact going to benefit from taking the risk in the first place ?
It is what it is, but realistically AGO has made it through what I would call the worst and although it probably will never be anything like it was, it will slowly generate cash and return to a dividend position if IO averages even $55 next year... Better than others like DSH.
