What is causing the price of IO to increase, and why is it catching economists and experts by surprise?
If you can answer that, then you have an idea of where it's heading in the future.…
In short, the continued greed for building warfare.
The companies that build everything to do with war are not publicly listed, nor do they show numbers or disclose profits -> economists can't see their production.
Nothing else has changed in the world since mid 2015 to cause the increase in IO. And please don't say "it's cyclical", as I can name 5 other commodities in the same cycle that are still at lows.
Warfare hasn't changed in the past 30 years, apart from an atomic bomb to end the world (an atomic bomb does not make revenue, and completely destroys the land which insurgents don't want). There hasn't been any advancements other than the 'usual' suspects (tanks, Air Force, navy, explosives). Huge IO usage in warfare, and every country in the world is stepping up orders.
The housing and infrastructure boom countries the economists know all to well, and have the data and facts to go with it.
Add to it EVERY country in the world ordering arms (yep, even the poorest of nations that can't feed their people) and you can see why IO is breaking through all charts and no one speaking out in the media for it's real cause.
IMO only folks, and please take it with plenty of salt. GLTAH
