Just reading some articles on my phone and just realised how much shipping costs has dropped in the last 2 months or so for Iron Ore.
Shipment cost for IO from West Aust to N. China, 160/170T Ships:
- July to Dec 2018, average US$8.30/T
- January to Yesterday, average US$5.68/T
Yesterday price is US$4.80 /T
Every US$1 saved is US$170M/PA extra cash for FMG.
Is there anything that FMG can do wrong ATM?
