We are still at $6.66 with the divi, Devils number LOL. still only 10% of the highs of 18 of 2 year ago. Vale was producing 400mil tones "circa" back in 2017 feb, FMG rose to $7.27 at that time based on huge NPAT, and the fact they had paid massive debt down.
the sh-t hit the fan and the price slowly went down. FMG even with VALE back to near full production will make massive profits for at least the next 3-6 months, so will be returning a massive full year NPAT, and either have a massive Divi, pay of debt ( if they are allowed to) or diversify.
White annoying - noise at the minute, very annoying,
I recall after divis being announced we went from $6.80 odd to $5.94, then back to $6.96 , before yesterday and todays combined reduction.
