Mysteel’s survey shows that iron ore shipments dispatched from Australiaand Braziltotaled22.15 million tonnes, ordown 706,000 tonnes on week. Australia sailed 17.23 million tonnes, up 733,000 tonnes. rising for three consecutive weeks, iron ore shipments from Australia and Brazil reversed down over June 3-9, falling by 2.3 million tonnes or 9% on week to reach 22.9 million tonnes, with Australian miners remaining the core contributors and accounting for 72% of total volume over the survey period, according to Mysteel's latest shipments data released on June 11.

Over the period, Australian iron ore shipments worldwide led the decrease, posting a notable fallof 1.4million tonnes or 8% on week to reach 16.5million tonnes.
