Big question is the Immediate impact on supply, the increase on price , and the ability for the other top 3 to bridge the supply gap. Also that China is being seen as a supporter of good corporate governance over companies who have potential poor business practice and cover ups when things go to pot.

Just throwing it out their for debate, knowing China probably does not care to much. But what if they suddenly got a conscious???

Fat chance of them doing as you suggested. China will buy from wherever they can get the product they want.

It will make a difference to any country wanting to develop their IO mines. I can imagine demonstrators objecting
on the streets if any government were to encourage Vale given their record now.

FMG are as clean as any whistle. More so than either BHP and RIO.

Just my opinion - it makes sense to me.
