Heard from a friend (though seen no coverage of it) that the body governing ship registration is going to outlaw the high sulphur fuel used on most ships. This will apply to bulk carriers but, interestingly not (yet) apply to those innocent looking cruise ships that "adorn" harbours like mine here in Sydney. Anyway, the point is that this will add a significant cost to the landed cost in china of Ore from Brazil when compared to our product. There is also a push to move to the use of LNG which would also advantage Australia.
