Vale shipped 5.1mt for the week. They would need to achieve sales of 7.5mt per week to get to the midpoint of their target notwithstanding some sales would not be seaborne related but nevertheless...

Iron ore shipments from Australia and Brazil to global destinations reversed down over October 7-13 to 20.9 million tonnes, 498,000 tonnes or 2.3% lower than the previous week, as steeper declines in Brazilian iron ore offset the increase in Australian tonnage, Mysteel’s latest weekly survey showed.
Over the period, Australia’s iron ore shipment recovered 1.2 milliontonnes or 8.7% on week to 14.8million tonnes of iron ore, while the tonnage from Brazil reversed down 1.7million tonnes or 21.8% on week to 6 million tonnes, with Vale’s volume plungingby 1.6 milliontonnes or 23.5% on week to 5.1million tonnes
