There is a hell of a lot of ignorance around this number
China is 4 times the size now of what it was in the year 2000 and is the 2nd biggest economy in the world
The rate of growth at 6% is roughly 4 times more dollars now than what it was at 7% in 2000
The % cannot keep growing by 7,8,9,10% every year
Journo's and misinformed punters that use the % number to spark fear are simply not understanding the compounding growth
