Thanks Flip. Sorry I have been having some head-thinky issues, so I was pretty discombobulated in my piece.
What I was writing was two things:
1) Loan was for shares. This loan has not been paid back
2) As the loan was secured by my house, I was able to run an offset account against it. This is paid up so I don't incur interest charges, but provides me with cash-flow when required.
Thanks for pulling me up on this though, as I would hate to have confused people. Viewers are home please note Hot Copper should not be used to replace your tax accountant.
