São Paulo - Iron ore exports from Brazil fell 14.85% in 2019 compared to 2018, with a lower offer from Vale weighing on foreign sales in the country, according to data from the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex) published in this report. Thursday.
Total shipments of ore from Brazil reached 335.66 million tons last year, compared to 394.2 million tons in 2018.
In December, the country exported 24.7 million tons, down from the 27.25 million tons registered in the previous month. In December 2018, Brazilian shipments totaled 33.2 million tons.
