Why would Rio do a deal with FMG Peartart?
- Most importantly customers have existing blending yards, if there is any sufficient blending arbitrage to capture further value then the steel makers will do so. They aren't going to be passing this VIU to producers.
- Rio of course has plenty of lower grade FMG ore already. What's in it for them?
