Red letter day. My 18 year son just bought his first lot of shares, ummed and ahhhed for ages - eventually decided on FMG (good boy) 500 shares at $8.93. It's a start! He's an undergraduate at uni, so it'll be slow going for quite a while, but at least he's jumped in.
