I’d say it would depend on where their influence/s are coming from.

Hopefully from reputable sources and with bit of research thrown in there for good measure

Hot Copper is where I started, then started including a whole lot of Google searches lol. Over time, I learnt a little more at a time. But being that I also worked in mining, it also gave me a bit of clarity as I moved into investmet.

I’m far from where I want my knowledge and experience base to be, but I’ve come a long way

I still consider myself a mummy and daddy investor at this point.
