New decree imposes rules for the reopening of shopping malls, bars, gyms and other establishments in Parauapebas

Shopping malls, fitness and pilates academies, religious institutions, cinemas, bars andnightclubs, restaurants and municipal public spaces in Parauapebas will gradually return to activities starting next Monday, 15.

For the return ofthese services, Mayor Darci Lermen will publish a new municipal decree setting the rules that must be complied with by merchants, in order to maintain service safely and prevent the spread of the coronavirus. In other words, it is necessary that the commerce complies with all the required hygiene norms: supply alcoholin gel and / or sink with water and soap for the customers and maintain social distance: the customers need to be 1.5 meters apart from each other and only they will be able to enter the establishments if they are wearing protective masks, which are also mandatory for all commercial workers.

The gradual reopening of these establishments is part of the second phase of the Flexibility Plan for Social Distancing and Resumption of Economic Activity inthe Context of Pandemia by Covid-19 in Parauapebas, built by the city hall, through the Municipal Health Secretariat (Semsa), and representatives local commerce.

There are 26 pages, which include, among other information, details ofthe epidemiological situation of covid-19 in Brazil, in the North and in Parauapebas; exposure of measures adopted or that must be maintained to control the transmission of coronavirus (social distance, monitoring of the phases of the flexibility plan, etc.); and data on the situation of care provided by themunicipal public health network to patients infected by covid-19.

Establishments must comply with the following rules:
Shopping malls, fitness and pilates gyms,restaurants and other food services: reopening with 50% of installed capacity,and restaurants are advised to prioritize delivery services, while gyms mustmaintain individual activities with scheduled hours and properly sanitize the devices for each use. These establishments must also maintain a distance of 1.5meters between customers.Bars, nightclubs, cinemas, theater, stadium,churches and temples can reopen the service to the public with up to 30% of itscapacity and also keeping the distance of 1.5 meters. For temples and churches, it is recommended to shorten the time of your events.

Municipal public spaces that generate agglomerations, such as blocks and a library, must observe a maximum occupancy of 50% of their capacity. The second phase also provides for the gradual resumption of outpatient care and elective surgeries as long as these do not require hospitalization.
