I don't usually post this kind of data in this thread, but it is a highly dramatic situation in Parauapebas- the Capital of the Ore- at the moment. 365 new cases of COVID 19 on Sunday and 2 deaths. Yet the city goes in to stage two of the release of restrictions tonight. Nightclubs, pubs, bars, cinemas, etc opening up.Shopping in full swing. It is a high stakes gamble, based on a fairly new higher level of testing. In Australia, it just wouldn't happen.
6720 cases. 4394 still active. People dying. City of just 200,000. It's roll the dice time.
The contagion curve in Parauapebas keeps growing. Today, 14, another 365 new cases were confirmed and the municipality recorded two deaths.
Stay home. Avoid direct contact with people, wear a mask when you go out and don't forget to sanitize all objects touched frequently and those who come from the street.
