I can see the RBA lowering the cash rate down to 0.10 next week, targeting the term rate and buying more gov bonds in the 5 - 10 year range ( after actively targeting the 3 yr rate) to flatten interest rates across the economy.
In addition to the sugar hit the markets should receive the key benefit will be to push down the Aus $. For us at FMG that means more revenue !
