keep the debt and buy back shares.
if we pay off $1 of debt we save ourselves 4 cents in interest payments, but if we buy back $1 of shares we save our selves over 10 cents in dividends.
when interest rates are so low, and our dividend yield so high, it makes more sense to get rid of some of our fellow share holders and keep the bond holders around.
