Hi L2019. Leucadia is the New York Institution/financier to the tune of US$3.2B that put forward various funding strategies for Fortescue to start-up. Please read the text I originally posted and have a look at the referenced documents to throw light on who actually funded the initial projects. Remember as I stated, there were ASIC proceedings against the China consortium of 4 companies, which wasn't resolved until 2012. Years later...
