It has been common with cost blowout isssue with magnetite projects, Karara and Sino Iron have had major cost blowouts in the past.
However, all major projects under construction in WA have been facing budget pressure due to fluctuating dollars, almost 50% rise on the price of steel, and shortage of skilled labour due to pandemic.
FMG team is looking at minimixing and containing the cost over run. This issue should only be a short term drag to the sp. imho
