This is the normal course of events.
Been saying it for the last few weeks.
Leading up to any announcement of likely profits and it drops hard and often the best time to be buying.
The announcement is then made and they shoot up very fast.
Then it drops back and then after we get the payout of the div it starts to go up over a few month period.
Nothing ever changes.
I did suggest last week that someone one ought to post graphs each 6 month cycle leading into announcements of profits
and dividend payouts.
