Yeah but China IO port stock at 1-year high, blast furnace capacity in use dropping for the fourth week in a row, Japan steel production at lowest level in 50 years, global steel profitability is tight to negative, larger than expected capacity offline for maintenance.
Oh and a new year holiday for February, which triggered the volume of buying in recent weeks.
