I strongly disagree with your statement that „I don't really know and nor does FMG“. Whilst the first part of your statement is an honest opinion, FMG, on the other hand know exactly what they are doing.
Recent investments by both FMG and Andrew Forrest, as well as his own private endeavours in this direction, clearly show that producing green steel in Australia is an economically viable and very realistic option.
Indeed, I am surprised that such a project was not launched 5 years ago.
Finally, AF and FMG have clearly showed that they have the cash as well as the capabilities to put into practice what they preach. The success of FMG and the current SP are testament to this fact.
