I highly doubt anyone on this forum is qualified to say that an Australian green steel mill will be cost effective against an existing Chinese steel mill.
Why did our old mills close when we have the cheapest coal? Cos the chinese are cheaper i guess..
Maybe some construction projects will demand green steel for accreditation etc, hopefully it gets up, but I wouldn't be placing a big bet on it.
