Macquarie: Fortescue to pay $1.37 dividend

Broker Macquarie has estimated that Fortescue Metals Group's next dividend will be declared at $1.37 a share, which would be a record for the iron ore producer and represent almost 80 per cent of underlying earnings.
FMG’s dividend policy is to payout 50-80 per cent of the after tax profit. Macquarie
Macquarie predicts a booming result for Fortescue, with revenue of $US9.4 billion, up 48 per cent half-on-half, earnings of $US6.6 billion and net profit of $US4.1 billion
