@redned71 Vale's problems are structural. They need a root and branch overhaul of management, and an entirely new approach to managing risk. Until that happens, it's unlikely we will see significant improvement in terms of risk mitigation. Plus, Brazil itself needs new management, and ditto for the situation there.
I would give the virus impacts in Brazil 18 to 24 months to play out- despite the vaccine roll-out (which has been haphazard at best).
Imagine transporting patients who have the P1 Amazon varient to hospitals across Brazil without any bio safeguards in place, apart from some PPE issued to handlers. Just imagine the potential spread.
