Steel Market Holiday Report:
Construction Steel: Saturday, thin trade, prices down a bit. Sunday, better prices for profile and strip steels, some market saw good transactions, prices also up, steel billet were up 30 yuan, other steel prices were up a little. Monday, transaction quiet down again, some market catch up prices from Sunday, up a little. Overall, because there is no future market, there were good transactions with little direction in prices.
Profile / Tube: Profile up 10-50 yuan today, transaction normal. Tube up 20-50 yuan, transactions normal.
Sheet / Roll: prices fell on the Saturday, then prices stable on Sunday and Monday, some market up 10-20 yuan.
Billet / Strip: Strip up 30-40 yuan, transaction normal. Billet up 10 yuan on Saturday and up 30 yuan on Sunday and up 10 yuan on Monday, overall transactions not bad.
TODAY: Billet up another 40 yuan to 3140 yuan. Surely with 4 days increase in a roll, interesting to see how futures open tomorrow.
