I stopped reading rcman some time back Stefans. Not ignoring him mind you, just not reading.

Why take him seriously given his oft-repeated claims that the bulk of Rio's and BHP production is at 58%Fe, both won't be producing iron ore within 15 years, his mate with the proprietary model showing iron ore would go to $120/t etc, BHP is an Enron etc. Let alone his strange and repeated claims of personal wealth.

If the short or on-the-fence posters were as loose and fast with facts there would be squealing everywhere.

It is a peculiarity of this stock that the long side (by and large) don't understand the industry they have invested in.

I think Mo (shame she no longer posts) was onto something when she characterised the FMG retail base as people who liked backing the underdog. It does explain the narrowness that you don't see on other resource threads, even the hotly contested ones.
