Lads...morning. this is interesting and the thread is interesting.
A year ago if iron ore was in the $150 range we would have popped corks. Now we are turning on each other.
It could go back to $170 or it might not. I am not too worried. In many ways I like the drop. I work in iron ore projects and so from a work perspective I love a high price because it brings projects forwards but from an investment perspective this drop from the peak is healthy. There are many projects being rushed forward into production which could easily cause a price crash so a drop now to still healthy prices might pause some of that rush. It is a healthy thing if it makes the industry more sustainable.
