Frank, this is a break-even chart, it is not a cost curve.
A cost curve shows production cost, this shows a the point at which a company would be on the verge of losing money.
As for "shoot" (or more correctly "shot"), that is what happened when you used CFR revenue for FMG, but then FOB revenue for Rio and BHP to support your claim that the margins for all three were much the same.
