My opinion, management need to seriously look at announcing the payout ratio for the half will be wound back to 70%. Note that with the recent price rises this will be equal to or larger than the expected dividend @ 80% that most have forecast for the last few months.
With the 'withheld' 10%, do 1 of 3 things (in order of preference): build a war chest for acquisition, use for buy-back (the mechanism is in place), pay off debt (I know it has long expiry dates - but maybe time to get rid of it).
The dividend and yield clearly isn't going to cause any further SP appreciation - so use the once-in-a-lifetime bounty to further grow earnings per share for the future!
