As a fellow newbie feel free to correct me...
basically Iron Bridge is only 30.4% Fe%, so to get up to 67% we need to process it extensively, which takes machinery and power, both of which are expensive.
Our direct ship 59% product has a C1 of $12-15USD, which Iron Bridge 67% will be $30-35, big difference.
Capital costs are higher! Bigger investment for less tonnes returned.
So when the Platts difference is greater than $20, higher grade ore should win.
(cant find a graph with 58% and 6%
P.s I dont think we will be pelletizing our IB product, think it will be mostly blended.
