This week may be the last week the iron ore price has a "2" in front of it in ever. When China warns of domestic production as a counter measure (among others) I interpret that they don't mean they start exploring and digging now. It means they have stockpiled enough domestic oren over long periods enough to displace seaborne supply for many months.
