The post op ICU is a tough gig, but you won't remember much of it, if any. Just a sore throat where the oxygene tube was, hopefully. Get home as soon as possible post op, for proper r & r. Suggest you do the rehab stuff post op- it's the best way to recover fully. We have some of the top heart surgeons in the southern hemisphere. Best odds almost anywhere.
