Forrests ideas to use green hydrogen as a fuel source for primary sintering of iron ore is a interesting idea. Difficult to achieve but with some smart engineers and unlimited cash it may work. If it did, it would completely pull the economic rug out from under the existing steel industry not to mention FMGs competitors. They could export IO briquettes at 30%? of the volumes of raw IO and the price uplift per tonne would be huge. Add in carbon credits and any coal based IO processing would be uneconomic.
