The thing about the iron ore price, like the steel price is that it varies depending on the location, grades or market.
It is human to want to standardise everything. We can forgive them for wanting to water down what is a complex picture and boil it down into a single figure.
Seaborne has fallen significantly like other indexes although within a few days of the Platts.
Futures still looking very very healthy in the high 170’s.
I’ll publish some interesting stuff on steel a bit later…
