mbenz500 I think you might be right. I was just stopped out break even. I only managed to hold through one dividend cycle. I really think that fmg is worth over 30. However fear is far stronger than logic. There is nothing like a falling sp and a couple themes driving the stroy of iron ore down. Delta in China, demand artificial being squashed for environmental reasons and un underlying geopolitical tension.
After ex dividend and after delta fizzles through lockdown and vaccinations the conditions should be fertile for another run. Stimulus packages will start looking for materials and the demand side will hopefully kick in. I might just take your advice and wait for a ex dividend buy
