No, they're not optimistic - they're statistically valid, conservatively averaged amounts, according with generally accepted norms of actuarial calculus and have as much - if not more - validity than your assertion. No one can foresee or foretell the future, IO may go down or it may rise further. FMG may fall but, statistically and rationally, it's far more likely to be higher in price and earnings in the medium and longer term
