Indeed it was a good finish for Iron Ore.
The physically delivered September contract basically closed at the high up 4.25%.
Unfortunately for us impatient investors, the contract essentially declined throughout the ASX trading session:
- Trading begins at 11am Syd time which approximately coincides with today's peak in Iron Ore stocks,
- Prices bottomed about 3.30pm Sydney time but didn't really start to takeoff until toward and after close of ASX trade.
Hopefully the overnight session holds up and we see FMG back toward $23 tomorrow.
