Iron ore price, page-35806

I sold down 2/3 of my holdings over the past 2 weeks. Decided much safer to buy another house in cash rather than a loan funded through FMG dividends. My CGT is enormous, but you need to factor everything into account. I've parked a big chunk in VTS as a hedge against AUD/confidence that US markets will stay strong.
I've lost 100s thousands in paper profits over the past month, but in reality I still made a couple million profit so I cannot complain. I have a lot of confidence in FMG, however I do hold concerns regarding China's hatred towards Australia and our government of moronic entitled white boys which just can't stop antagonising them.
If we had some foresight as a country we would be welcoming all migrants and putting in place an infrastructure program to build up our regional towns into proper cities. If we keep travelling on our current path, I'm worried we will face the same situation as Nauru, and ironically end up as a prison colony for the rest of the world.
