Without putting them in Jail , they don't trust the Government for one !!!! they don't think the economy will recover as fast as the West thinks it will !!!! they don't trust their money in Gov banks !!! they are controlled !!! they are watched !!!! I last talked to them a year ago when we were there for 4 months, I don't know their feelings today. The Gov have put a limit on the amount of money Chinese nationals can withdraw from foreign ATMs, that is a daily and annual limit, this was introduced just mid last year....again, control.... for us guys who live in a relatively free environment it's not a pretty picture....and I can't really paint everything I'm told.....there is an uneasy undercurrent, but they are doing really well, good money, happy healthy lives etc............... enough already
