What people don't realise is what's happening in China. It's government has decided that going after GDP growth through building more and more things that they'll never need through more and more debt is no longer sustainable. That's why you see all these property stocks ie Evergrande that use to be too big to fail going under because the Chinese government no longer thinks that growth via thus route is in its best interests. All it ever does is inflate commodity prices for other countries whilst they themselves get into even more debt.
