The CCP scored an own goal by banning Aust coal.
Guess what happened as a result of the ban?
The coal still made it to China from Aust but at a higher price via an intermediary who profited immensely from the situation.
Look at Aust coal producers now, absolutely flying high and enjoying close to record high prices & laughing about it.
The only ones who actually lost from that "interesting" decision was the literally cold and hungry people of China and the CCP. They ended up paying much higher prices than had they purchased the coal direct from Aust, or the paid higher prices for inferior coal.
The same fundamental stupidity permeates the decision to clamp down on their own steel makers, which will impact many other sectors in the process. Watch as the Bank of China turns the taps on again to rescue its economy from the blatant obvious stupidity of the CCP and its attempt to control the uncontrollable.
Eventually the people will realise that the CCP don't represent them. Xi is a dictator and a tyrant. Nothing more. perhaps less.
